Patrick said:
The work of Audit Scotland in providing assurance and probity around public spending and driving improvement in services plays a crucial role in Scotland’s public sector and in supporting effective scrutiny. This has never been more important than in the current fiscal climate. I am delighted to join the Board, and I look forward to helping support and provide oversight of the important work of public audit.
Patrick joins the Board following the appointment of Colin Crosby as Chair following his terms as a non-executive director. As well as being a Board non-executive, Patrick will chair Audit Scotland’s Audit Committee.
