Publication: Overview of the National Health Service in Scotland 2002/03

The Auditor General's annual overview of the NHS in Scotland found that overall financial management in the NHS continues to be of a good standard. However he has expressed concern about the underlying financial position in four NHS bodies, and five NHS trusts failed to break-even.
