All support services and policies that relate to efficiency, effectiveness and economy of the operation of the Commission are provided by Audit Scotland. Annual reports on areas such as finance, diversity, equal pay etc can be found here.

As a body, the Accounts Commission does not employ staff, nor does it spend money directly. However, it may commission reports that relates to sustainable economic growth. A summary of the Accounts Commission’s work can be found in the annual reports.

Members of the Accounts Commission are appointed by Scottish Ministers. No member earns more than £150,000 per annum. Information on public appointment remuneration can be found on the Scottish Government website.
