Publication: Audit Scotland biodiversity duty report

The Nature Conservation (Scotland) Act 2004 sets out that all public bodies in Scotland have a duty to further the conservation of biodiversity when carrying out their responsibilities, and every public body in Scotland must produce a publicly available report, on its compliance with the Biodiversity Duty once every three years.

This report covers Audit Scotland’s biodiversity actions for the period 1 January 2021 - 31 December 2023.
