Publication: Benefits, Finance and Corporate issues - Performance indicators 1999/2000
The report highlights that Scotland's councils collected just over 88% of the £1.26billion council tax due for the year, within 1999/2000. It also shows that councils paid less than three-quarters of their invoices on time and in 16 councils the proportion of benefits applications processed within 14 days went down.
